A chart guiding the choice of Equipment Colour Coding.
The use of equipment that is Colour Coded is to prevent cross contamination during cleaning processes.
Different areas of the building will use specifically coloured cleaning equipment. And other coloured equipment may be prohibited from those specific areas (such as food preperation).
It is vital that a Colour System forms part of the overall Cleaning and Hygiene Programme.
It is a simple but important step that will make a large contribution to hygiene standards.
